Nothing is priced here yet because no exchange contract on a New Jersey economic figure has qualified for the site. The first one will settle on a number the state or a federal agency publishes about New Jersey, and its own page will say which figure, who releases it and when it settles.

The Giants Lead the NFC East, and the Division Market Still Ranks Them Third

Polymarket priced the Giants at 11% to win the NFC East on October 5, 2026, behind two 2-2 rivals near 40%, which means the market is reading a 3-1 start as four games played rather than a division lead.

Top New Jersey Economy Markets

No exchange contract on a New Jersey economic figure is priced on this site yet, so this section states its rule. It qualifies when an exchange writes a contract that settles on a number a public body publishes about New Jersey and Prediction Genius, the site's price supplier, places that contract in New Jersey rather than in a national category. The question has to be the state's own: the Department of the Treasury's monthly revenue collections, the Appropriations Act the Legislature passes before each July 1, the unemployment rate for New Jersey, or the finances of a New Jersey city or state authority. A federal release with no New Jersey line reads the same in every state and stays with Prediction Genius. Until such a contract is listed, the New Jersey questions priced here are the state's races: the Senate seat and the House districts, the 7th among them.

What Moves New Jersey Economy Markets

The figures such contracts would settle on arrive on a fixed calendar, and the calendar is the catalyst. The state's fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30, and the Department of the Treasury reports revenue collections for the major taxes month by month, each against the year before. The Office of Legislative Services, the Legislature's nonpartisan staff, publishes its own Revenue Snapshot from the same cash receipts and presents formal revenue estimates to the budget committees during the budget review. The budget runs on one cycle: the Governor's Budget Message is due on or before the fourth Tuesday in February, and the State Constitution requires a balanced Appropriations Act signed before July 1, with the Governor certifying the revenues behind it; the certification for the year ending June 30, 2027 is dated June 30, 2026. On the labor side, the Department of Labor and Workforce Development publishes the New Jersey Employment Report on dates it announces in advance, October 15 and November 19, 2026 among them, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics carries the state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate as series LASST340000000000003, printed first as preliminary and revised later, so a contract's rules have to say which print counts.

Why New Jersey Economy Prediction Markets

An economic contract poses a single question a published number can answer, whether the figure lands above or below a line by a date, and pays a fixed amount if it does. The price is the share of that payout traders will pay for it, which reads as the probability they assign, and it moves when a release or a forecast changes minds rather than on a survey's timetable. Where two exchanges list the same question, each venue's figure appears under its own name; where one does, the page says so. The site reports what a market implies about a New Jersey figure and takes no side on the number or on the venue.

Questions readers ask

How do economic prediction markets work?

A contract asks whether a published figure, such as New Jersey's unemployment rate for a given month, will land above or below a stated line by a stated date, and pays a fixed amount if it does. Its price is the share of that payout traders are paying, so it reads as an implied probability, and it settles on the release the contract's rules name.

Which New Jersey economic figures can have prediction markets?

The ones a public body publishes on a schedule: the Department of the Treasury's monthly revenue collections, the Appropriations Act for each fiscal year from July 1 to June 30, and the state unemployment rate the Department of Labor and Workforce Development releases with the Bureau of Labor Statistics. A national figure with no New Jersey line does not qualify.

How do New Jersey economy markets settle?

On the named release as published, never on a forecast or a news report. A contract on state revenue would point at the Treasury's monthly collections report, and one on the jobless rate at the Bureau of Labor Statistics series for New Jersey, LASST340000000000003; the rules also say whether the preliminary print or a revision counts.

Where can I trade New Jersey economy markets?

On the exchange that lists the contract. Kalshi and Polymarket price the New Jersey race contracts on this site, and an economy contract's page would name the exchange or exchanges behind it and show each venue's figure separately. New Jersey Predictions is not an exchange and takes no trades.

Are economic prediction markets legal in New Jersey?

The legal status page reports what New Jersey's regulator, the federal courts and the venues' own documents say about prediction-market exchanges as of September 28, 2026, with its next review on October 12, 2026, and draws no conclusion the record does not carry; this section does not settle the question on its own. Nothing on New Jersey Predictions is legal or financial advice.
